Welcome to Budget Balancers Bookkeeping! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website [Insert Website URL] and our bookkeeping services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. Services Provided

 

Budget Balancers Bookkeeping provides professional bookkeeping services exclusively using QuickBooks for:
✔ Small businesses (under 200 employees)
✔ Start-ups
✔ Independent contractors
✔ E-commerce businesses
✔ Sole proprietors

Our services include:
✔ QuickBooks Setup – Assisting new clients with proper QuickBooks ledger setup (Subscription fee not included).
✔ Bookkeeping Clean-Up – Fixing, categorizing, and reconciling financial records.
✔ Full-Service Bookkeeping – Including payroll processing and financial reporting.

We do not offer tax preparation or legal financial advice.

 

2. Eligibility

 

To use our services, you must:
✔ Be at least 18 years old or legally authorized to enter into contracts.
✔ Provide accurate business and financial information for bookkeeping purposes.
✔ Use QuickBooks as your bookkeeping software (We do not support other platforms).

 

3. Payment & Billing

 

✔ Pricing & Packages: Our services are offered at different price levels based on scope. Fees are outlined during service selection.
✔ Payment Terms: Subscription services will be invoiced on a monthly retainer, with payment due as specified in the invoice. One-time services will be invoiced upon completion, with payment due as specified in the invoice.
✔ Late Payments: Unpaid invoices may result in service suspension.

💲 Note: QuickBooks requires a separate monthly subscription fee paid directly to them unless otherwise noted.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

 

✔ One-Time Services: Non-refundable once work has begun.
✔ Subscription Services: Can be canceled anytime prior to your next renewal date and will end on that date.
✔ Delayed Work Refunds: 25% refund given for work delivered past the promised time.

 

5. Client Responsibilities

 

✔ Provide Accurate Information – You agree to supply correct financial data.
✔ QuickBooks Access – You must grant us necessary permissions for bookkeeping.
✔ Review & Approve Work – You are responsible for reviewing financial reports.

We are not liable for financial discrepancies resulting from incorrect or incomplete data provided by the client.

 

6. Confidentiality & Data Security

 

✔ We maintain strict confidentiality of your financial data.
✔ Your information is never sold or shared without consent, except as required by law.
✔ Secure data handling practices are implemented, but we cannot guarantee absolute cybersecurity.

7. Third-Party Services

 

✔ We exclusively use QuickBooks for bookkeeping.
✔ We are not responsible for QuickBooks system errors or third-party service failures.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

 

Budget Balancers Bookkeeping is not liable for:
✔ Any financial losses, tax penalties, or legal disputes arising from bookkeeping data.
✔ Errors due to incorrect data provided by the client.
✔ Technical issues with QuickBooks or other third-party services.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for our services.

 

9. Modifications to Terms

 

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services means you accept the revised Terms.

 

10. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles.
